According to the amendment to the Trade Regulations 1994, Federal Law BGBl. I No. 45/2018, and the Package Travel Ordinance (PRV), BGBl. II No. 260/2018, traders need a right to exercise travel services in order to organize package tours and to promise associated travel services.

This exercise authorization replaces the previous entry in the list of tour operators maintained by the Federal Ministry for Digitalization and Business Location and is entered in the Austrian Business Information System (GISA).
